Third tranche of the Public Health Act Care and health In brief This bill amends the Public Health Act. Its aim is to ensure that organisations combating infectious diseases can share data with one another faster and more effectively, allowing outbreaks to be detected earlier and addressed more quickly. Various evaluations in recent years showed that the current act was insufficiently clear on some points. As a result, necessary data could sometimes not be shared, or could be shared only after a delay. This bill seeks to resolve those bottlenecks.
